RE:ACT

Approach

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step” – Lao Tzu

I founded Re:act to help you and your organisation take the first step – whether it is to better understand the climate or biodiversity crisis, brainstorm on effective actions or map out the path you would like your team to embark on.

The network/team

I rely on a network of professional facilitators and trainers, in France and internationally. Together, we can organise and deliver workshops and training sessions in many languages, all around the world – in person or online.

The approach

My approach is informed by the latest research on effective environmental communication and action. I integrate insights from organisations such as Climate Outreach and YPCCC with the leading behavioural and social science to ensure that discussions resonate with diverse audiences and lead to meaningful change.       All the workshops, educational and training materials that we use are grounded in the latest scientific data, drawing from trusted sources such as the IPCC, IPBES, and other leading scientific organisations and studies.

As a neurodivergent person, I bring unique perspectives and approaches to the workshops I facilitate and the way I work with clients.

My ability to think differently allows me to find creative solutions and embrace complexity and diversity. I prioritise clear, engaging and inclusive communication, ensuring that each participant feels heard and valued. I pay attention to diverse needs and create an environment that fosters meaningful discussion and collaboration.

In ecosystems, diversity ensures balance, adaptation and survival in the face of change. Similarly, neurodiversity equips human systems to thrive in a rapidly evolving world by embracing different perspectives, fostering empathy and challenging conventional approaches. Both remind us that embracing diversity – whether in nature or humanity – is not only ethical, but essential for resilience and evolution. You can read more about my journey and commitment to inclusion in this LinkedIn post.

Below is a step-by-step description of how we can work together:

#1

Initial contact & needs assessment:

Reach out via email & schedule a meeting on Calendly. Let’s discuss your interest in environmental issues, your goals, challenges and expectations. This will help me tailor the workshop or training to your needs.

#2

Proposal Development:

Based on the consultation, I will prepare a bespoke proposal outlining the workshop/lecture/training topics, objectives, format and timetable.

#3

Workshop / Training Design & Planning:

Once the proposal is approved, I will design a detailed workshop/lecture structure, including interactive activities, presentations and discussion points. This will integrate scientific data from IPCC, IPBES and other key sources. Logistics such as date, venue (or virtual platform) and materials required will also be finalised.

#4

Workshop / Presentation / Training Delivery:

On the day of the intervention, I will facilitate the session, supported by other professional facilitators as needed, to ensure the engagement and collaboration of all participants. We will explore scientific evidence, practical solutions and actionable strategies in line with your objectives.

#5

Follow-up & Feedback:

After the session, all participants will receive an email with personalised resources to review what we have learned and to explore the topic further if they wish.

I will also collect feedback from participants to assess the efficiency of the session and identify any areas for improvement. A follow-up meeting will help ensure that the workshop has met your expectations and that you have a clear action plan to take forward.

Head, heart & hands

All our work is based on:

Science

Providing undisputable, scientific data, based on reports such as the IPCC and IPBES

Collective intelligence

Learing together and sharing experiences and knowledge

Active listening

Creating a safe space to express and share emotions

Creativity

Engaging the creative part of the brain, to better assimilate

Action

Always dedicating part of the workshop on discusing and designing possible actions

I particularly appreciated Ana’s experience and skills in leading discussions on climate issues. I also really appreciated the practical, concrete advice on facilitating the workshops. The materials provided were of very high quality and even personalised post-workshop!
